Why A Spa? - Exercise

ExerciseSundance Spas and Hot TubsMaxxus is the first spa built for exercise, as well as relaxation. Ergonomic design and exceptional jet placement maximize the buoyancy and resistance inherent in water, so you can flex, stretch, build strength or rehabilitate muscles and joints.

A safe and complete aquatic exercise routine awaits you in a Maxxus — aerobic, low-impact and customized to your preferences. After adjusting the temperature to 90° F or less, lower yourself into the SunSport™ Exercise Seat. Then, simply attach the optional SunSport AquaFlex equipment and adjust the jet pressure for a workout as easy or challenging as you wish.

Enjoy a full-body exercise:

  • Back and shoulder strengthening
  • Leg and abdominal conditioning
  • Rowing and paddling routines
  • Arm lifts and pulls
  • Leg lifts and pulls

Therapy seats in the Maxxus accommodate all body types and sizes. Specially positioned jets provide hip joint therapy. Studies have shown that most people with arthritis and diabetes benefit from gentle, warm-water massage and exercise.
